Evil Eye started out as a joke between myself and Mike Welling, and is in fact based on Welling's demonic picture - the first version even had that picture.  Welling though, likes to play burn decks and thus this card gains a burn ability which has a modest gain, but is rather restrictive - the theme of most Core cards.  The image is by Justin Hillgrove, the background is courtesy of Photoshop.
