Brown Stuff was created to fill two gaps simultaneously. Like all Bograth cards in this set, it has the shifty effect. Its low cost means that this would be a good for a swarm and the kamikaze power means that one can take out an opposing creature with as much energy as Brown Stuff before the attack step, a mechanic common to Bograth. The other gap that Brown Stuff fills is less apparent. However, it's a Stuff card, which means that a Stuff magi can use him together with the other Stuff creatures - Green, Black... with more coming in Daybreak and Tainted Glimpses. The background is a composite of two Bograth cards - Deadwood Staff and Golthub, with the creature itself by yours truly. |
